Floating Adventure - Alsace

Alsace borders Switzerland to the south and Germany to the east. So difficult to nail in terms of its character, it proudly guards its distinct identity, language, cuisine, history and architecture – part French, part German, 100% Alsatian. Here the candy-coloured towns and villages look as though they've popped up from a children's bedtime story. The gently rolling countryside is nothing short of idyllic.
Alsace runs west to east from the pine-clad Vosges mountains through some of the most beautiful vineyards in France, to the mighty Rhine river and the border with Germany. On this bike-and-boat adventure, we follow the impressive Rhine river all the way to Nancy. Along the route we explore Wingersheim, the self-proclaimed capital of all things hops and beer. There's certainly lots to discover on this outstanding trip.
