The Ride from St. Moritz to Innsbruck
Explore this impressive and enchanting countryside along breathtaking bike paths that reveal the rugged charm of the region. The bike trail follows a river beneath snow-covered alpine summits to the Austrian border.
The bike trail starts in St. Moritz, continuing on to Scuol and Innsbruck. It meanders through breathtaking countryside as the wide, high Engadine Valley changes into the large, forested terrain of the Swiss National Park. The route then passes through magnificent Swiss villages such as Zernez, Susch, Lavin, Guarda, Ftan and Scuol. The area is known only to a few as an ideal place for summer holidays. It is also one of the centers of the Romansh language, culture and tradition.
Cycle to the Finstermünz Gorge, where both the country and scenery changes. The Austrian Province of Tyrol welcomes cyclists with its warm hospitality.
The tour ends in Innsbruck. There is quite simply no place in the world that compares with Innsbruck. It is the only major city in the European Alps. Innsbruck offers a combination of culture, history and nature unequalled anywhere else. This is an ideal place to end your ride!
